Return Policy

Sitcorrect.com offers a 30 day satisfaction guarantee on most products(chairs). If for any reason you would like to return or exchange a chair simply call us toll free at 1-888-766-1010 or email us at for a return authorization number. Sitcorrect.com chairs can be returned within 30 days subject to the following conditions.  All products must be returned to us in Providence, RI freight prepaid. You will also be responsible for the original outbound freight, which will be deducted, from your return refund. Even though your chair(s) may have shipped without an additional freight charge(free), we still deduct our original outbound freight charge(cost to ship to you).  Any assembly fees/additional shipping fees are also not refundable.  The product must be in the original shipping container in the original factory packaging with all fillers and parts intact.  If the chair fabric is coded 'NR' which designates special order, the chair can be returned to us for a 30% restock fee which will be deducted from your credit along with the original outbound freight costs per our standard return policy terms and conditions. If the chair is built from a stock fabric, leather or vinyl and not marked 'NR' the chair can be returned without the restock fee. We reserve the right to not accept back NR or special order chairs in lots beyond 6 units. Stock fabric chairs are subject to a restock charge of 30% in quantities greater than 6 or more and will as well be subject to our normal outbound freight costs which are deducted at the time of issuing your credit. In all cases, unless instructed otherwise, all chairs are to be returned to sitcorrect.com 36 Branch Avenue in Providence, RI 02904. Chairs need to be carefully reboxed in the original or like carton and fillers and clearly marked with your order number and the word 'Return'.

If you receive a defective product you need to contact us immediately. We will replace the product or send the replacement part(we reserve the right to decide) out at no cost.  If you decide you do not want parts or a replacement( at our discretion), the item can be returned under our standard return policy.   If your product arrives damaged (always do a thorough visual inspection of the carton and product) and was delivered by either UPS or Fedex Ground, accept the shipment and notify us. We will make the arrangements to expedite replacement parts or replace your product(at our discretion). If your product arrives LTL truck, take the time to inspect both the carton and the product itself so you are protected against any possible mishandling from transit. The truck driver is obligated to wait while you make this inspection. If you find the product to be damaged simply note so on the bill of lading and refuse the shipment or the piece(s) that were subject to damage. In all instances, if you sign for the product and find that there is concealed damage you must notify us within 48 hours so that we can make a freight claim with the carrier.

During delivery, the carrier will require the merchandise to be signed for, and it’s very important to inspect the delivery carton for any creases, tears, dents, or holes. Should any of these damages exist, please write that information on the face of the delivery receipt. Failure to properly notate damages or shortages will waive our right to file a claim against the carrier on your behalf.

Please call us with any questions about returning a chair that is special order or stock and we will guide you through it.

Ergonomic accessories cannot be returned unless they are defective in nature.

If you think there is any possibility of concealed damage always note this the bill of lading. Better safe than sorry.

Most of our product ships UPS, Fedex and Fedex Freight and damage is rare. In fact “seating” is the most damage resilient product that we handle, and most of the time all of this is merely pre-cautionary “just in case”.

Only chairs are returnable, other products cannot be returned.  Our return policy only applies to chairs.

Cancellations

Orders cannot be cancelled once they leave the distribution facility, which in many cases takes place in the first 24-48 hours of the product delivery cycle. Special orders (non-stock chairs) cannot be cancelled once they enter production and are non-returnable.

Customer is responsible for checking their orders & confirmation to ensure they are correct.  This is particularly important for PHONE orders.  If you do NOT receive an e-mail confirmation/receipt, please contact us immediately.

Shipping Costs

All of our products are shipped free of charge (domestic ground) and if there are any charges due to special conditions it will be noted and you will be advised of the charge. Rule of thumb is that nobody will deliver your product indoors unless you are willing to pay for that. UPS, FedEx and LTL carriers are geared for dock or door only deliveries.

LTL shipments (truck) are always “tailgate” and the product will not be delivered inside unless a special request is submitted to our customer care department. Truckers use loading docks typically to unload and if the carton is large they simply do not have the ability to move it inside.

If you need your product setup and installed in place, contact our customer care people who will assist you in making those arrangements. If you have any kind of special delivery conditions, please note such in the comment field of your shopping cart at check out.

Certain shipments will not be left without a signature, however many items are left at your door since it is likely that the local UPS or Fedex driver has been there before and knows “where to leave it.”

If you choose to have your shipment expedited on a rush basis and request a next day or second day delivery option, we can only guarantee that service for the day(s) following the day that it leaves our factory. If you submit your order late in the day it may not leave that day but the next. Always call us when you have an especially “hot” shipment

We do offer shipping to Canada, Alaska and Hawaii.   Orders to these states and territories carry special freight costs and must be custom quoted. Please e-mail or call us (888-766-1010) with your inquiry.

Sitcorrect.com prices include free shipping to every continental US destination.  If you do not reside within the continental US, you may proceed with entering your order through the shopping cart and we will contact you within 24 hours with a confirmed freight rate to your specific location.

We will complete the processing of your order when we hear back from you with your approval on this additional charge for shipments outside of the US.  Shipping charges will not be inclusive of local taxes and duties that could prevail for cross border shipments to your specific country.

"Usually Ships In" refers to the number of BUSINESS DAYS it takes the product to leave the distribution facility.

Satisfaction Guarantee

Our 30-day “satisfaction guarantee” is backed by full warranties from each manufacturer. These warranties can vary from six years to “lifetime” but are subject to the normal wear and tear exclusions. If you have a concern or will be using your chair under unusually“intensive” conditions (which is usually more than eight hours a day, seven days a week or require a “heavy duty” chair for that office “fullback”) call us so we can discuss more specifically what product best suits you. If you are not happy with your purchase within the first 30 days you can return it subject to the conditions as stated under our Return Policy. Our intent is a satisfied customer that places repeat orders. Our mission is to take care of you. This is why we have real people that answer our phones! Price Guarantee

sitcorrect.com offers a “meet or beat” price guarantee on all products. If you see the product elsewhere on the Internet for less call us and we will match or better the price. Sitcorrect.com reserves the right to exclude items incorrectly priced by “typos” or may not offer the price guarantee on products that are being sold as closeouts or products in dissimilar coverings or finishes.

Payment

We accept American Express, Visa, Master Card and Discover. Our shopping site is equipped with an industry standard, SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology to ensure that your information is encrypted. Credit card information will remain private and will only be used to process your order. Debit check-cards can have daily cap limits and if your orders size exceeds the cap amount we will process your order in multiple payments. Call us for help in processing your order if your card has a small daily cap limit

Special order chairs will be charged to your credit card when the order is entered at the factory not at the point of order completion.

Sales Tax

Items shipped to the state of Rhode Island will be subject to a 7% sales tax. All other merchandise with destinations elsewhere will not carry a tax. This is a huge savings over buying your product from your local retailer!

Fabric Samples

sitcorrect.com has an extensive library of textile samples on file. If you need to see your fabric of choice on a swatch card because you are unsure about the color accuracy on our site you can contact us and we will pop one in the mail to you. Colors can vary slightly among different fabric runs but most are barely discernible to the eye and in most instances you can take our site's swatch images as close representations(fabric swatches should be requested where shade, color and lighting is important). Wood finishes will also vary between cuttings and can vary due to the graining and characteristics of the wood products themselves. We also carry most wood finish samples in our library.
